 Heritage House Elder Care is privately owned by Delwyn & Julie Spronk. Established in 2002, Heritage House was created to provide a Nursing Home alternative. As a nurse, Julie oversees staffing and resident cares. Del has a degree in accounting and manages all financial aspects of the business.

“I wanted to provide quality care for elderly adults at an affordable price,” comments Julie. “With a capacity of 10 residents, we are able to maintain a home-like atmosphere with professional services. One advantage of a smaller environment is that resident’s get to know their caregiver’s on a first name basis. No pool nurses, no revolving staff. I believe continuity is essential when dealing with aging adults.

Additionally, we have an unsurpassable ratio of staff to resident. On an average day we have 3-4 staff on site at one time. This allows employees to go the extra mile. It affords staff the time to curl hair, paint nails or spend quality one on one with residents.

We at Heritage House promote family values and respect traditions of days gone by. With a homey atmosphere and the nostalgic decor of yesteryear, resident’s enjoy home cooking, reciting grace before meals, discovering new found friendships and partaking in age appropriate activities.”
